A woman identified as Jennifer (JJ) F. and another person were killed after a plane crash near Golden Gate Bridge on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2022.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened at around 2:00 p.m. near San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
Jennifer was flying in an experimental single-engine Vans RV-10 plane when it crashed in Marin Headlands for unclear reasons.
Jennifer and another person inside the plane were killed in the crash. The identity of the other party has not been disclosed.
It’s unclear whether weather played a role in the accident, but authorities said there was dense fog in the area at the time of the crash.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
