[05-06-2023] 73-Year-Old Man Killed After Motorcycle vs. Vehicle Crash on Highway 190 in Death ValleyA 73-year-old male motorcyclist tragically lost his life following a collision between his motorcycle and a car in Death Valley, Inyo County, on Saturday morning, May 6, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred around 10:50 am on Highway 190 between Panamint Springs Resort and Father Crowley Point.

According to the report, the man lost control of his motorcycle, slid into the opposite lane, and hit the front of an oncoming vehicle.

Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP and the Inyo County Coroner’s Office are collaborating in investigating the incident.
