[05-10-2025] Santa Clara County, CA – Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 101 Near Yerba Buena Road in San Jose

A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 101 in San Jose early Saturday morning, May 10, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to a report of a woman lying in the northbound lanes of Highway 101 just south of Yerba Buena Road at approximately 2:33 a.m.

Authorities stated that the woman had been hit by a Honda Civic and suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and was uninjured, according to authorities.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
