[05-11-2022] Orange County, CA – One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in Mission Viejo

The California Highway Patrol reported that at least one person was injured in a two-car crash on the Interstate 5 freeway in Mission Viejo late Wednesday morning, May 11, 2022.

Authorities said the crash happened at 11:44 a.m. on the southbound freeway near Crown Valley Parkway.

The injured person’s condition is unknown at this time.

According to the CHP log, one car was overturned as a result of the collision.

The SigAlert was sent out at 11:49 a.m. and will last for an hour.

Residents were advised to avoid the area while the SigAlert is in effect.
