[05-11-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – At Least One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Near Halloran Springs

At least one person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash near Halloran Springs, San Bernardino County, on Monday morning, May 11, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 6:52 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 15 near mile marker 143.

Preliminary information indicated that a semi-truck and a pickup truck may have been involved in the collision.

Authorities stated that one of the vehicles struck the center divider, then traveled to the right shoulder and overturned.

Emergency crews, including two medical helicopters, responded to the scene as authorities conducted a fatal crash investigation.

CHP continues to investigate the cause of the incident.
