A male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Monday evening, May 12, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 12200 block of San Fernando Road near Hubbard Street.
Officers responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian and found the victim with fatal injuries.
The male pedestrian, whose age has not been specified, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Police confirmed that the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
