Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway on Saturday night, May 14, 2022.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the northbound lanes, just south of the Richards Boulevard off-ramp.
A white Volkswagen Jetta and another vehicle collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the accident occurred and why it happened have not been established.
Two people were rushed to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Their identities have not been disclosed.
