The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred at 10:00 a.m. at Union Avenue and East 18th Street.

According to the report, Latronica was the driver of a vehicle that collided with two other cars. He was taken to Kern Medical for treatment but tragically lost his life due to his injuries.

It is unclear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision, and the investigation is still ongoing.
