[05-18-2025] San Bernardino County, CA โ€“ Three People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Bear Valley Road Near Amethyst Road in Victorville

Three people were injured following a two-vehicle collision on Bear Valley Road in Victorville on Sunday night, May 18, 2025.

According to the Victorville Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:21 p.m. just west of Amethyst Road.

The vehicles involved were a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a black Hyundai Accent. Victorville Fire Department responded to the scene and requested three ambulances.

A woman inside the Hyundai was heard screaming in pain and had to be assisted out of the vehicle by emergency crews.

Witnesses reported that the Hyundai was traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road without its headlights on when the crash occurred. The Tacoma was reportedly pulling out of the McDonaldโ€™s parking lot when the two vehicles collided.

Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage. The Hyundai came to rest on a raised curb with a shattered windshield and significant passenger-side damage. The Tacoma remained in the roadway with its front end crushed and airbags deployed.

Three individuals were transported to local hospitals with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The crash remains under investigation by the Victorville Police Department.
