[05-18-2026] Sutter County, CA – Woman Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Yuba City

A 69-year-old woman, identified as Balwinder K., was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Yuba City, Sutter County, on Monday night, May 18, 2026.

According to the Yuba City Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 9:23 p.m. at the 2600 block of North Colusa Frontage Road.

Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive woman suffering from significant injuries, with her walker located nearby.

Emergency personnel performed CPR at the scene before transporting her to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials said speed and impairment are not believed to have been factors in the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
