[05-20-2025] Los Angeles County, CA โ€“ Two People Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Crash at Third and Alameda Streets in Downtown LA

Two people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that damaged a fire hydrant in downtown Los Angeles early Tuesday morning, May 20, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 1:04 a.m. at the intersection of Third and Alameda streets.

Responding officers found a silver Chevrolet Camaro and another unidentified vehicle had collided at the intersection.

Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.

The cause of the crash has not been determined. Authorities temporarily closed the intersection while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision.
