A 15-year-old girl was severely injured after being struck by a car in Templeton, San Luis Obispo County, on Thursday night, May 25, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Las Tablas Road near Hawley Street.
According to the report, the teenager from Templeton was crossing Las Tablas Road from south to north when she was hit by a westbound car.
Following the incident, the pedestrian was promptly taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for medical care for her significant injuries.
The driver involved in the incident, a 38-year-old woman from Templeton, remained at the scene.
There is no suspicion of drug or alcohol involvement, although the crash investigation is still pending.
