[05-28-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Tesla Driver Killed After Getting Involved in a Street Racing Crash With a Hit-and-Run DriverOne unidentified man was killed after crashing into a pole following a street racing accident with another driver who fled the scene on Lake Balboa early Saturday morning, May 28, 2022.

The fatal accident transpired at approximately 12:30 a.m. near Victory Boulevard and White Oak Avenue.

The Tesla driver reportedly encountered a BMW sedan and engaged in an illegal speed race on the roadway.

Unfortunately, the Tesla driver lost control of his vehicle near Victory Boulevard and Encino Avenue and crashed into a light pole and a tree.

The Tesla driver was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed, but he is described as a 35-year-old man.

The BMW is a 2011-2015 M3/M5 lowered, with a modified exhaust and a built-in spoiler. The color of the vehicle was either dark blue or purple.

Once found, the hit-and-run BMW driver will be charged with speed racing and felony hit-and-run.

There is a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone who gives information about the suspect’s capture.
