A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Moreno Valley early Thursday morning, June 6, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:07 a.m. at the Freeway 60 and Perris Boulevard.
Authorities stated that the victim was found on the westbound of the freeway after getting hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian, whose name, age, and gender were not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown whether the driver cooperated with the authorities or fled the scene. At this time, there is no available information on the model and make of the vehicle, nor is there a description of the driver.
A SigAlert was issued, closing all lanes of the westbound freeway for several hours.
