An unidentified male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Los Angeles early Wednesday morning, June 7, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 2:30 a.m. on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Indiana Street in East Los Angeles.

Authorities stated that information regarding the identity of the man who died at the scene was not immediately available.
