[06-09-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed After Vehicle Crashes Into Laundromat in Manhattan Beach

A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle that drove into a laundromat in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2026.

According to the Manhattan Beach Police, the crash occurred around 6 p.m. at Suds & Duds Coin Laundry on Aviation Boulevard.

Authorities reported that the vehicle drove over the sidewalk, smashed through the storefront, and struck a person inside the laundromat.

A witness at the scene described seeing the victim trapped under the vehicle, with an arm caught between the car and a washing machine. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash.

It is currently unclear what caused the vehicle to enter the laundromat, and police have not confirmed whether the driver was arrested.

Authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision.
