[06-12-2022] Orange County, CA - One Woman and Dog Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in Newport BeachAccording to police, a woman and her dog were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Newport Beach on Sunday night, June 12, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred just after 8 p.m. near San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Ridge Drive.

According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities also had no information on her identity or whether the dog belonged to her.

Two children in the other car involved in the collision were taken to the hospital with major injuries.

One of the cars was engulfed in flames, but police did not say whether it was the woman’s car.

The cause of the collision is unknown, and the Major Accident Investigation Team of the Newport Beach Police Department is still looking into it.
