[06-12-2023] At Least 1 Person Injured Following Hit-and-Run Collision in ExeterAt least one person was injured after a hit-and-run collision in Exeter on Monday afternoon, June 12, 2023.

According to the Exeter Police Department, the incident occurred that afternoon near Visalia Road, west of Orange Avenue.

An old model of Mercedes jumped the center island curb and collided with a Ford Fusion. The Mercedes also damaged city property in its wake. Both occupants of the Mercedes, a man, and a woman, fled on foot.

The occupants of the Ford were immediately transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. It is unclear exactly how many were inside the Ford Fusion.
