According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred around 9:22 p.m. along State Route 94, west of 28th Street.

A white Chevrolet Silverado driver hit and killed a pedestrian whose identity remains undisclosed. The pickup driver reportedly pulled over on the right side of the road.

Authorities closed all lanes to make way for the investigation. Further details on the fatal crash have yet to be released.
