[06-19-2023] Motorcyclist Killed After Collision with SUV in MantecaA male rider was killed after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV Vehicle in Manteca on Monday morning, June 19, 2023.

The Manteca Police Department said the incident occurred before 9:00 a.m. on West Yosemite Avenue, close to Fishback Road.

According to the report, a man was traveling on a motorcycle in an easterly direction along the road, while a woman driving an SUV was heading west and attempting to turn onto Fishback Road.

Regrettably, the motorcycle and the SUV collided, leading to the unidentified motorcyclist suffering severe injuries and losing his life at the accident site.

Law enforcement officials have stated that driving under the influence (DUI) is not believed to have played a role in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
