A pedestrian is in critical condition and hospitalized after being struck by a car in Clovis on Monday, June 20, 2022.
The crash occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Herndon and Sunnyside Avenues.
Authorities detained 44-year-old David L. on suspicion of DUI even though he remained on the scene and was assisting the investigation.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
