Two people were injured following a single-vehicle crash in North County on Monday, June 20, 2022.
The crash occurred on a Monday in the 1900 block of South Mission Road close to Mission Oaks Road.
A burgundy Mustang Cobra Roadster veered off course at the scene of the crash.
After veering off the road and into two trees, the car finally came to rest against a fence.
The North County Fire Protection District had to close the road in order to save the occupants.
Two adults were in the car. One has grave injuries, the other only minor ones. Both were taken to Palomar Hospital by ambulance.
A tow truck was called in to pull the car out after fire crews cleaned up the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
