[06-21-2022] Orange County, CA - Motorcyclist Woman Killed in DUI Crash in StantonAccording to the authorities, A motorcyclist was killed in a crash, and another driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Stanton Tuesday night, June 21, 2022.

According to Orange County Sheriff Scott Steiner, the deadly collision occurred just after 9:30 p.m. on Beach Boulevard and Starr Street.

A man driving a pickup truck made a U-turn on Beach Boulevard southbound on Starr Street as a woman on a motorcycle was heading north on Beach Boulevard.

Steinle said that motorcyclists ride in the second lane from the left on the four-lane street.

There are no traffic lights at intersections.

The woman was taken to the hospital but eventually died, officials said. Officials withheld her identity until her relatives were notified.

Steiner said that the man, who sheriffs did not immediately identify, was arrested on suspicion of DUI causing bodily harm.
