According to the authorities, two people were injured and another arrested after a multi-vehicle collision in Palmdale late Wednesday evening, June 22, 2022.
The crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. on the southbound lanes of SR-14 near East Barrels Springs Road.
Authorities discovered two vehicles completely engulfed in flames and one that had been flipped onto its side with the wheels in the air when they arrived at the scene.
A nearby hospital received the two injured patients for treatment. There was no immediate word on their health.
At the scene of the incident, one man was taken into custody.
Sigalerts were issued for all the southbound 14 Freeway lanes while California Highway Patrol officers investigated the incident, and workers cleared the road of debris and wreckage.
