[06-23-2023] Two Pedestrians Injured Following Hit-And-Run Crash in BakersfieldTwo pedestrians were injured following a hit-and-run crash in Bakersfield on Friday, June 23, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around evening along Chester Avenue, north of Decatur Street.

A black Chevrolet pick-up truck fled after hitting two pedestrians who were crossing the avenue.

Both victims sustained major injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

While investigations continue, the authorities are currently in search of the suspect.
