Authorities reported that one person was hurt due to a two-vehicle crash on the northbound 710 Freeway on Monday, June 25, 2022.
The collision occurred around 10:46 a.m.right before the Willow Street exit.
When Long Beach Fire crews arrived on the scene, they saw two cars that had collided, one of which had flipped over onto its side.
According to Caltrans, the collision caused a standstill in traffic on the northbound 710 Freeway from the Shoreline Drive Freeway entrance through Willow Street.
The California Highway Patrol closed two lanes while Long Beach fire personnel attended to the injured in order to help with traffic management.
Personnel from the LBFD took one person to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for minor wounds.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
