[06-25-2023] San Diego County, CA – Male Motorcyclist Killed After Being Struck by Several Vehicles on SR-78 in Oceanside

[06-28-2023] Multi-Vehicle Crash Injures Six People in Granada Hills, One Extricated from WreckageA 43-year-old male motorcyclist was killed after being hit by several vehicles on State Route 78 in Oceanside on Sunday morning, June 25, 2023.

According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. on the eastbound of SR-78.

The investigating agency report says the male motorcyclist drove his Buell two-wheeler eastbound on SR-78. After passing multiple vehicles on the right shoulder, he lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown onto the road.

The motorcyclist was struck by several vehicles after tumbling onto the road near Jefferson Street. Upon the arrival of the paramedics, the male motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was identified as Jacob Lee T., but the identity and condition of other individuals involved in the accident were not disclosed.

It remains unknown if alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision.
