A 38-year-old homeless man was killed when he was struck by two vehicles and an SUV that had all left the scene in Fullerton early Monday morning, June 27, 2022.
According to Fullerton police Capt. Jon Radus, the fatal collision occurred at 1:30 a.m. at Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue.
According to Radus, a southbound white Dodge Charger with the green light struck the man as he was pushing a shopping cart across Harbor Boulevard in the north crosswalk against the red light. That car’s driver did not pull over.
A black Jeep Wrangler struck the man again shortly after, and this time the driver did not stop, according to the captain.
Two minutes later, the man was struck by a white Honda two-door Civic, and the driver also fled the scene, according to Radus.
He claimed that after being taken by paramedics to a trauma center, the victim was declared dead.
