The crash transpired about 11:15 a.m. on Highway 99 near California Avenue.
The authorities have stated that the collision involves a sport utility vehicle and a Jeep Cherokee.
The collision has closed between three and four lanes of traffic heading north on Highway 99.
Those who were injured reported experiencing pain in their necks as well as their backs.
It has not yet been established whether or not driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol was the root cause of the accident.
