[06-29-2023] High-Speed Crash in Chino Leaves Two Drivers Injured and HospitalizedTwo people were injured and hospitalized after a high-speed collision involving two vehicles in Chino on Thursday morning, June 29, 2023.

The Chino Valley Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 1:00 a.m. at Riverside Drive and Ramona Avenue.

According to the report, the collision involved a westbound white Mustang traveling on Riverside Drive at high speeds that T-boned a black SUV at the intersection of Ramona Avenue. The incident was captured on a security camera belonging to a nearby business.

The Mustang and the SUV drivers were taken to a local hospital, with their conditions remaining unknown. It is currently unclear if any other occupants from either vehicle were transported from the scene.

Pastor Ricky Reyna, residing on church property, responded to the car accident. With his daughter alert, he witnessed a car in flames. Using a water hose and help from another person, they rescued the occupant while extinguishing the fire.

The CPD will be responsible for investigating the collision.
