[07-04-2023] Possible Injuries After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig Along Highway 58Possible injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash along Highway 58, Kern County, on Tuesday morning, July 04, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 10:47 a.m. on Highway 58 and Bena Road.

At least eight vehicles were involved, including a pickup truck and a big rig. It is currently unclear how many people were involved or if any others were injured.

This was the third crash within the area. One eastbound lane and all westbound lanes of Highway 58 were closed off.

The authorities have not released further information about the crash.
