[07-04-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Vehicle in Florence

A motorcyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles early Saturday morning, July 4, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the incident at around 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and 59th Street.

Authorities said the driver of a vehicle was traveling southbound on Broadway and attempted to make a U-turn when the vehicle struck the motorcyclist. The rider was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released. The driver remained at the scene, and no arrests were reported.

The Los Angeles Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
