[07-08-2023] Multiple People Injured After Hit-And-Run Crash Between Two Vehicles at First & Main StreetsMultiple people were injured following a hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles in Napa on Saturday evening, July 8, 2023.

According to the Napa Police Department, the t-bone collision occurred at the intersection of First Street and Main Street that evening.

A white SUV was traveling east on First Street, while a black sedan was traveling north on Main Street. As the SUV crossed the intersection, the black sedan drove around two cars and passed the red light resulting in a t-bone collision.

The two vehicles lost control and spun towards Napa Palisades Saloon and a light pole. The vehicles also nearly hit several pedestrians on the sidewalk, but luckily, they were able to avoid getting hit. The sedan’s airbags were deployed in the aftermath of the crash.

When the sedan’s driver regained control, they fled the scene in the direction they came from while the SUV pulled over to the side of the road.

No information was released regarding how many were injured, the extent of their injuries, and the identities of the people involved, pending an investigation.

The suspect is still at large. Anyone with information about this hit-and-run incident is encouraged to call the authorities.
