[07-08-2023] Riverside County, CA – Multiple Fatalities in Twin-Jet Plane Crash Near French Valley Airport

Six individuals were killed following a twin-jet plane crash near French Valley Airport in Riverside County on Saturday morning, July 8, 2023.

The aircraft, reportedly a 1979 Cessna C550 business jet, went down at approximately 4:15 a.m., causing a brush fire upon impact, quickly engulfing the wreckage in flames.

The fire spread about an acre of vegetation but was eventually controlled by firefighters around 5:35 a.m.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), all six occupants of the plane, identified as adults, were pronounced dead at the crash site. However, their identities have yet to be disclosed.
