[07-09-2022] San Diego County, CA – Motorist Injured After Colliding with a Border Patrol on the Otay Mountain

A civilian was injured in a traffic crash on the Otay Mountain Truck Trail on Saturday evening, July 09, 2022.

According to US Customs and Border Protection, a Border Patrol vehicle collided with a civilian car around 6:45 p.m.

Medics rushed to the crash scene, where they discovered one civilian with minor injuries.

The Border Patrol agent appeared unharmed, though his condition was being assessed.

The CHP handled the investigation.
