[07-12-2023] Riverside County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in Perris

One person was killed while another was injured after a two-vehicle collision in Perris on Wednesday afternoon, July 12, 2023.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident at North Perris Boulevard and Perry Street intersection around 3:45 p.m.

The events leading to the accident remain unclear, but it involves a blue Kia Optima and a brown Kia Soul. It was determined at the scene that the driver of the Kia Optima was killed.

The driver of the Kia Soul sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was taken to a local hospital. The authorities did not yet release the identities of the people involved.

There is no indication whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. Investigations are ongoing.
