Two individuals were injured after a solo vehicle crashed through a church in Pomona on Friday morning, July 16, 2023.
The Pomona Police Officers arrived at the scene shortly after 2:30 a.m. The incident took place on the 500 block of North Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers and firefighters discovered that the vehicle had penetrated the church and emerged on the other side. Fortunately, the building was unoccupied at the time.
Two unidentified individuals were transported to Pomona Valley Hospital in currently unknown conditions.
It is uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
