[07-14-2023] Female Passenger Sustained Severe Injuries After Solo-Vehicle DUI Collision in UkiahA woman was severely injured following a solo-vehicle DUI collision in Ukiah on Friday morning, July 14, 2023.

According to the Ukiah Police Department, the incident occurred on the 800 block of Mendocino Drive at around 2:00 a.m.

Officers of the UPD observed a vehicle that hit two unoccupied vehicles. Antonio A., the driver of the vehicle, showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for DUI with injury after having a blood alcohol level greater than .08%.

The female passenger was found unconscious with a large laceration on her head. Officers at the scene provided medical treatment while waiting for the medical response team to arrive and transported the victim to a nearby hospital.

No information was released regarding the identity of the victim.
