[07-14-2023] Shasta County, CA – One Person Killed Following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Redding

One person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash in Redding late Friday morning, July 14, 2023.

According to the Redding Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 11:23 a.m. in the area of 8080 Airport Road, near Kent’s Meats.

Three vehicles were involved: a blue PG&E truck, a gold Cadillac sedan, and a Honda sedan. The PG&E truck hit the passenger door of a Cadillac as it was making a left turn. At the same time, the Honda was pulling out of the parking lot and got caught in the crash.

Medical personnel performed CPR on a male passenger who later succumbed to his injuries. No other major injuries were reported.

The authorities have not released other information about the fatal crash, and investigations are still underway.
