A 63-year-old pedestrian was injured after being struck by an SUV in San Diego on Saturday morning, July 15, 2023.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred in the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard at around 1:20 a.m.
A southbound Honda CRV reportedly struck the pedestrian walking outside of a marked crosswalk. The Honda driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The victim sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. It is uncertain whether the Honda driver was also injured.
No information was released regarding the identities of the people involved or what caused the incident.
