[07-16-2023] Multi-Vehicle Crash on NB 5 Freeway in Norwalk Claims Three Lives, Injures Two OthersThree people died while two others were injured after a multi-vehicle crash on the northbound 5 Freeway in Norwalk on Sunday morning, July 16, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol said the incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. at Norwalk Boulevard.

According to the report, multiple vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation. However, it is uncertain how many vehicles were involved.

Tragically, three individuals were discovered deceased at the scene, and two others were transported to the hospital with their conditions yet to be disclosed.

Due to the severity of the crash, several freeway lanes were closed, and the cause of the tragic event is currently unclear.
