[07-18-2023] 35-Year-Old Homeless Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Garden GroveA 35-year-old homeless man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Garden Grove on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority, they responded to the accident at the intersection of Clinton Street and Westminster Avenue at an unspecified time.

A vehicle struck the pedestrian while crossing Westminster’s north curb to the south curb outside a crosswalk. It was reported that the victim died after being transported to a local hospital. The vehicle’s driver cooperated with the authorities after the crash.

There were no additional details regarding the identities of the people involved in the accident.

It was determined that drugs and alcohol did not contribute to the crash.
