According to the local authorities, the collision occurred around 6:13 p.m. at South State Street and Church Street.

The report said the vehicle struck a motorcyclist, causing the rider to sustain mild to moderate injuries, including an “open compound fracture” in a lower extremity.

The injured person was taken to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for initial treatment and then transported via air ambulance to another location.
