[07-22-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – 2 Men Killed Following Solo-Vehicle Crash in Downey

Two men were killed after a solo-vehicle crash in Downey on Saturday morning, July 22, 2023.

According to the Downey Police Department, the incident took place in the area of Downey Avenue and Imperial Highway before 5:10 a.m.

The victim’s vehicle slammed into a tree on the highway, causing the car to wrap around that tree. It is unknown what caused the crash, pending an investigation.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

No information was released regarding the identities of the victim and the driver.
