[07-23-2022] Sacramento County, CA - 17-year-old Teen Fatally Died and Two Injured After a Hit-and-Run Accident in South SacramentoA 17-year-old Pomona resident died and two other people were injured after a hit-and-run accident in South Sacramento last Saturday, July 23, 2022.

The accident happened on a Saturday on Stockton Boulevard.

The other two Sacramento female pedestrians were a 33-year-old who was taken to UC Davis Medical Center and a 56-year-old who was taken to Kaiser South Hospital.

According to the CHP, the Toyota Rav4 driver, Marquis Leon Johnson, a 29-year-old from Sacramento, struck the three pedestrians after colliding with the front of an 83-year-old woman’s Toyota Camry.

Marquis J. reentered the road after striking the sidewalk users. His car stopped about 100 yards south of the Camry’s initial collision.

The Rav4, Marquis J., was driving and was reported as stolen during the accident, leading to his arrest.
