[07-23-2023] DUI Driver Caused Two-Vehicle Collision with Two People Injured in Rancho CucamongaOne individual acquired a major injury and another with a minor injury when a driver under the influence collided with a vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday Morning, July 23, 2023.

According to the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff Station, the incident occurred at the intersection of Base Line Road and Hellman Avenue at about 5:11 a.m.

The report said that a gray Ford Mustang, driven by Sharin A., 25, a male resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was traveling westbound on Base Line Road at high speed and collided with another vehicle in the intersection.

The Mustang passenger was taken to a nearby trauma center for treatment after acquiring a serious injury. On the other hand, the other vehicle’s driver suffered a minor injury, but it was not clear whether the driver was transported to a hospital.

Sharin was then arrested for driving under the influence resulting in injuries.
