[07-23-2023] Santa Cruz County, CA – Two People, Including Child Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in Watsonville

A man and a child were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Watsonville on Sunday afternoon, July 23, 2023.

The local authorities responded to the accident on Riverside Drive at Walker Street at an unspecified time.

A Honda Civic traveling south on Walker Street was struck by an SUV traveling west on Riverside Drive. Two people were injured inside the Honda, the male driver and a young child, while another two passengers, an infant and a woman, were unharmed.

The injured victims were transported to hospitals for treatment with unknown conditions. It was unclear whether the SUV driver and passengers, if any, sustained injuries or stayed on the scene and cooperated with the police.

Their identities have not been disclosed to the public as the authorities are still investigating.
