[07-24-2022] Sacramento County, CA – 79-Year-Old Woman Dead and Two Others Injured in a Two-Vehicle Crash in Wilton

According to the California Highway Patrol, 79-year-old Arla G. was fatally struck in a two-car collision in Wilton on Sunday morning, July 24, 2022.

The accident occurred on Sunday morning on Dillard Road.

Arla was driving her 2016 Toyota Corolla when she ran off the road’s right shoulder, lost control, and entered the eastbound lane, colliding head-on with a Hyundai.

Arla and Hyundai’s driver were both trapped in their vehicles, but a 12-year-old in the Hyundai was able to escape.

Arla died at Kaiser South Hospital of her injuries.

Speed, drugs, or alcohol were not involved in the collision.
