[07-27-2022] Nevada County, CA – Rollover Crash Injured Two People at Old Downieville Highway

Two people sustained injuries in a rollover accident involving two vehicles in Nevada City on Monday, July 27, 2022.

The accident occurred Monday morning on northbound Highway 49 at Old Downieville Highway.

When the Nevada City Consolidated Fire District arrived, they saw a Honda Element and a Ford truck obstructing the southbound and northbound lanes.

The Element had flipped over in one of the lanes.

One of the two victims suffered moderate injuries. The victims were sent to the hospital.

Both lanes of the road were closed while the accident scene was cleared.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
