[07-28-2023] Two People Hospitalized Following Pursuit Led to Reckless Two-Vehicle Crash in IndioTwo people were hospitalized following a pursuit that led to a reckless two-vehicle crash in Indio late Friday afternoon, July 28, 2023.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported that the crash happened around 11:45 a.m. south of Interstate Ten and Jackson Street.

The pursuit started around Fred Waring Drive and Adams Street, where a reported stolen car was spotted. The suspect struck another vehicle and rolled over into an embankment.

The suspect sustained minor injuries, and the other vehicle’s passenger complained of pain, but the other driver was unharmed. Both were taken to a local hospital.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the reckless crash.
